It is a very enchanting. Unusual shape makes this house a better value. Look at the pictures.

Located in London (De Beauvoir conservation area), this charming Victorian home has been refurbished and extended this year by Scott Architects.
As a curiosity, this project won the title of “Best little house of the year” in The Sunday Times British Homes Awards 2013. Everyone pretty much impressed with inspirati appearance, but its unique. The back of the house garnished with plump unique extension, which pretty much adds a modern flavor to the structure.”
Shape of the rear extension of the statue has been generated from the site-specific response to the surrounding environment, while preserving the character of the existing building. This extension is designed to be part of the landscape park than the main house and this is reflected in the choice of wood cladding and a green roof system.”
To fit the present context and without eliminating the essence of Victoria, the required transformation is encouraging. Exposed brick fused with oak finishings, launched a clean-lined interior. Low-energy lighting, underfloor heating modern and last, but not least, sloping green roof only a few sustainable features.

This show celebrates British heritage residence without ignoring modern characteristics.
