The form of this house like a bird in flight. This house was designed by Portuguese architect Bernardo Rodrigues and is located in S. Michael Island in the Azores.
The house is made with a very original architecture consisting of a curved volume combined with the panel cover unexpected and odd-shaped windows, this home truly spectacular.
According to the architect, “offers a micro-climate is often the wind farm and a bathroom so that the first design strategy is to block them with a wall of wind, offers a variety of terrace and courtyard enclosed on the ground floor is protected from rain and opened all the living space to the natural green surrounding with using glass walls recede from the outside.
Upstairs there are private rooms is more closed and protected. Roof terrace is the perfect place for relaxation where residents can enjoy views of the coast of the island.
This design is a creative solution to protect the architecture of private houses.
